Mandatory Raiding Pack

First of all i would like to welcome all newcomers to our guild's ranks. Even though many of you already know what stuff one requires to raid i have compiled a complete list of addons,programms and other thingies that you must have at your PC in order to assisst at your best in our forthcoming fights..

1)Required Programms
-Ventrillo v3.x {Link}
We use ventrilo v3 to coordinate our raids. The specifics for the server will be given to you in the game. Apart from the obvius there are not many programms you are going to need.

2)Suggested Addons
-Omen Threat Meter* {Link}
-Deadly Boss Mods* {Link}
-Grid {Link}
-Pitbull {Link}

(Addons marked with an (*) are mandatory NO MATTER WHAT)

Other than those addons its advisable to use Class based addons (Pally power,necrosis etc) to even further assisst your gameplay.

3)A clean system
I am not joking. We had some REALLY nasty wipes due to disconnects,frozen screens,render artifacts and a lot more technical mumbo jumbo. Make sure your PC runs at optimal settings

4)Tweaking
Tweaking is when someone changes something in his PC to make it go faster or better. Some may call it tinkering. In any case other than overclocking your pc there is a pretty cool fix to improve your latency.

Just so you know, i've tried the fix myself along with many more guildies AND IT WORKS. You may even notice a 70% latency reduction (from 300 down to 90).
-READ THE WARNINGS. In somes PCs it may not work
-DONT ATTEMPT TO DO IT MANUALLY IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW ITS DONE. We want you to be able to provide more to the raids but we dont want you to ruin your computer. Make sure your PC can handle it.
